Hoover Middle School proudly presents, The Vile Veterinarian.

Come see Herbert Hoover Middle School staff perform the play The Vile Veterinarian.

Choose from four performances:

• Wednesday Feb 10th at 4PM & 7PM
• Thursday Feb 11th at 4PM & 7PM

Tickets are $5 for students $10 for adults.

Volunteers from the Hoover Performing Arts Boosters will have refreshments for sale including: pizza, ice cream and snacks.Pizza is $2 per slice and other snacks are .50-$1.

Please come and enjoy the show, and support the performing arts program at Hoover. All proceeds help fund the performing arts program.

Wednesday, February 3rd, Hoover will be hosting an Honors Night for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who earned a 3.0 GPA or above during the fall semester.  Invitations were sent home to students who earned an award.

In the past, parents have pitched in to provide both manpower and (lots of) cookies for this event. Please consider signing up to help.

Drop off cookie donations in the main office before end of school on Wednesday. Please mark your donations “Honors Night”.

Tuesday, November 24 is the Turkey-Trot fundraiser event (at lunch). This is a very significant fundraiser for the PTSA. Please consider volunteering at this event. Emergency Bins Donation Drive

This year the PTSA is helping the school to refresh and update the classroom emergency bins. The goal is for each classroom to have a complete kit. We have already received some donations (thank you!), but many items are still needed.  Items include: first aid kits, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc.

We set a deadline for Friday (November 6th) for this donation drive, so please donate soon.

We have posted a list of needed items using SignUpGenius.  CLICK HERE for a list of needed items.

Please help support the safety of our teachers and students by donating classroom items to replenish classroom Emergency Bins. Please drop off your items in the Hoover Middle School office anytime through Friday November 6th. Be certain to mark items “FOR EMERGENCY BINS”.

TRICK OR TRACE FALL FESTIVAL IS SATURDAY!
Come join Trace Elementary School on Saturday, October 17th from 11:00-4:00 pm for the Trick or Trace Fall Festival! There will be a huge pumpkin patch, a haunted walk, carnival games, musical performance by our Kinder students, DJ mastery by Mr. Boston, crafts, yummy food, kids’ obstacle course, a magician, face painting, a balloon artist, lots of huge inflatables and last but not least, Hogwarts castle!!! Costumes are welcome and as always, admission is free and is open to the public!

Trace Elementary School PTO needs volunteers desperately. If you know of any middle school or high school students that are in need of volunteer hours please have them go to the link below.
