About The 2017-2018 Quad Makeover

The Hoover Middle School PTSA focused efforts for the 2017-18 school year on beautifying our campus. The first big project was “The Quad Makeover.” Hoover’s cafeteria has a capacity of 250 students and with less than 20 outdoor lunch tables and limited benches, the outdoor seating capacity was just over 300. This left approximately 50% of the 1100 students at Hoover with no where to sit and eat their lunch.

Our goal was to increase the amount of tables while providing awning structures to provide shelter from the sun as well as the rain, in addition to other quad improvements.

Not only did students and staff benefit greatly so did the entire Rose Garden community, as the school grounds serve the neighborhood.
