Hoover families: Please consider the following event hosted by the Lincoln High School PTSA.
Note: Please review the following to determine if this film is appropriate for your family members. Here is guidance from the film makers’ FAQ: “What ages is the film appropriate for? The full-length feature deals with difficult topics in a frank manner. As a result, we recommend the film for a 16+ audience although we do not yet have an official age rating from MPAA or a TV Parental Guideline.”
Parents and School staff are particularly encouraged to attend.
Lincoln High School’s PTSA is hosting a screening of the movie “The Mask You Live In” followed by a panel discussion. Parents and students are invited to this free event.

When: Monday, September 21st at 7pm
The Mask You Live In follows young men as they struggle to stay true to themselves while negotiating America’s narrow definition of masculinity. Written, produced and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the film premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2015.
